Our restoration manufactory introduces itself
The objects of our work
These are the furniture classics from the authorized manufacturers Vitra and Herman Miller. Every single classic object is irretrievable. As a certified Vitra restoration partner, we specialize in restoring customer objects in a functional, authentic and value-preserving manner using the current state of the art. The specifications for the planning and implementation of the restoration work are the product idea and the design principles of the designer, the technical conditions of the respective production phase at the time of delivery and the current condition of the object.
Quality matters
The classic objects are restored in our restoration workshop in Breisach am Rhein. A team specializing in the classics by authors Charles & Ray Eames, George Nelson, Jean Prouvé and Verner Panton is at work here. We train the craftsmen and women in our team on an ongoing basis to ensure the quality of service and execution.
Ensure traceability
Photo documentation of the “before”, “during” and “after condition” makes it possible to understand the high quality level of every object with which we carry out maintenance and restoration work in our manufactory. The work on a classic object goes through a multi-stage process. Special tools and devices that we have developed ourselves are used in these.
Clarify order
Before the work begins, the order is clarified in two phases.
In phase 1, the customer is given a non-binding preliminary offer with our initial assessment based on the customer photos provided. The modalities of collection and return using our specially developed collection packaging are also explained. If the restoration is commissioned, a pick-up date will be agreed.
After the restoration object arrives at our restoration workshop in Breisach am Rhein, phase 2 begins with the physical analysis of the object. For this purpose, the object is carefully dismantled and this previous condition is photo-documented. The customer receives the binding offer based on the physical analysis with the photo documentation of this previous state for download.
After the documents have been discussed, if desired, and the order has been approved by the customer, the order is confirmed. The components of the restoration object are controlled with the process information in the respective departments for wood, metal and fine mechanics, plastic, leather and upholstery as well as painting.
Service warranty
Every classic object restored in our manufactory comes with a two-year service guarantee on parts and labor from the date of invoice.
